NPR remarks that we’re in a golden age of string quartets and Pro Musica will bring four of the world’s best to Santa Fe for the 2025-26 season. Enjoy Colin Jacobsen’s quartet Brooklyn Rider, as well as the Danish String Quartet (who will be playing Jonny Greenwood’s amazing score from the film There Will Be Blood), Cuarteto Casals, and the Diderot String Quartet.
The Southwest’s Premier Bach Festival and Baroque Series
Pro Musica presents their Holiday Bach Festival in December. This year soprano phenomenon Sherezade Panthaki will enchant us with her expressive and dramatic Baroque performances. Stephen Redfield and Colin Jacobsen take turns leading the Pro Musica Bach Ensemble in A Baroque Christmas, a nod to Baroque masters, and Bach and Beyond, a concert exploring J.S. Bach’s legacy. In March, Redfield leads the Pro Musica Baroque Ensemble with music by Bach, Vivaldi, Pachabel, and more showcasing Grammy®️ Award winning tenor Nicholas Phan.
