When a group of Spanish settlers from Mexico City founded Santa Fe by way of the Camino Real in the late 16th Century, they forever altered the course of cuisine in the Southwest. It is from these New World influences, along with the influences of the Mediterranean, that Kiffin has created his Contemporary American Cuisine.
Signature dishes include Grilled Tenderloin of Beef with Cepe O'Brien Potatoes and Foie Gras Hollandaise, Tuna Tartar topped with Osetra Caviar and Preserved Lemon, and a Warm Bittersweet Liquid Chocolate Cake with Pinot Noir Amarena Cherries, Chestnut Chocolate Tuile and Crème Fraiche for desert.
The landmark building includes distinctive design elements created by renowned designer Alexander Girard. Kiffin's incomparable cuisine, whether enjoyed on a beautiful patio in the summer or in a cozy adobe in the winter, make a visit to The Compound a necessary component of your authentic Santa Fe experience.
