A trip to Holy Chimayo, the largest Catholic pilgrimage site in the United States, is a short, picturesque drive from Santa Fe. Chimayo is a unique village of tradition including faith, art, weaving, and chile. Here we visit the 1816 Santuario de Chimayo and the healing dirt before visiting the Santo Niño de Atocha Chapel. Visiting a multigenerational weaver is a must on our visit.
The Stunning Highroad to Taos Featuring the Taos Pueblo is the only way to experience the most of New Mexico in one day. On this expedition you will witness the cultures of this unique region by visiting the Taos Pueblo and journeying the Highroad through the many old New Mexican villages founded by Spanish land grants.
Our scenic trip to the Atomic City – Los Alamos is a wonderful way to learn about the clandestine Manhattan Project. In Los Alamos we enjoy a chronological walking tour of the historic district focusing on the early homesteading, the boys ranch school, the Manhattan Project, and what is happening today.
Our Bandelier National Monument guided tour is the perfect way to experience the richness of our Native story at this compelling archaeological site. At Bandelier we will journey the Pueblo Trail Loop exploring Pueblos, cliff dwellings and petroglyphs.
A gorgeous drive to Abiquiu is perfect for those who enjoy the legendary modernist painter, Georgia O’Keeffe. Here we can visit her home and studio and/or experience Ghost Ranch for a Georgia O'Keeffe Landscapes tour via bus or on horseback.
