Black Mesa produces a variety of grape, including Pinot Grigio, Syrah, Montepulciano, and Riesling. Owner Jerry Burd says of the extensive range, “I can’t make up my mind. I have a palate that enjoys many different styles of wines and so do our customers.”
Try their popular authentically Northern New Mexican Hard Cider. Choose from five cider flavors, “Sweet, Dry, Raspberry Blackberry, Basil, Capuline (chokecherry). 12oz bottles and 32oz growlers.
All wines and ciders are made at the winery using only New Mexico grapes and apples.

Petroglyphs & Labyrinth are free to the public. Petroglyph images range from 100 years to 1500 years old. Each rock is marked by a small kokopeli figure. There is a white quartz rock on top of each petroglyph rock. It can be walked in about 15 minutes. It also goes by the Montepulciano and the Pinot Grigio vineyards.
Labyrinth is located behind the winery and along part of the Petroglyph Trail. It can be walked in 15 minutes or longer, depending on the person and their thoughts along the way.
