Working with a variety of tools from pencil, charcoal, pastel, paint, collage, gesso, encaustic, wood panels and paper, to mention just a few, Lauren is excellent at opening the doors for you to discover your creative spirit and expression. In her classes there are no mistakes, she encourages you to let go of the "hows" and "whys" you may have learned and explore new realms of fun and creativity that lie beneath the surface. Whether you're an experienced artist or a curious novice, these classes will inspire you.

Lauren was formerly a professor of art at the University of Portland. Her work has shown extensively in top galleries, museums and private collections across the U.S. including New York and Mexico. She has been awarded numerous art fellowships and traveled a lecture circuit with her work. Lauren now resides in Santa Fe and offers her classes in her own artist studio.
